Terms and Conditions
1. GENERAL
This document contains the Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter “TCU”), which shall apply to all acts entered into and actions carried out through, or directly or indirectly related to, the website owned by Peruvian Alpaca Fibers S.A.C., Tax ID No. 20615516041 (hereinafter “PERUVIAN ALPACA”), operating under the domain name https://www.peruvianalpaca.com
and its related derivatives (hereinafter “The Site”).
The TCU contained in this document shall apply specifically to the following acts and actions:
(i) the purchase and sale of Products through “The Site”;
(ii) access to and use of The Site in any manner and for any purpose previously authorized by PERUVIAN ALPACA, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing;
(iii) access to and use of other related spaces created in association with or as a result of The Site, such as chats, forums, pages, among others.
Individuals or legal entities duly represented (hereinafter the “User” or “Buyer”) wishing to purchase products from The Site may do so provided they register and accept the TCU contained in this document, as well as all other policies and principles governing The Site, which are incorporated herein.
The TCU are binding and mandatory. If the TCU are not accepted, the person concerned shall be prohibited from using The Site. This prohibition shall be absolute and shall apply to direct or indirect use for any purpose, including access to The Site, purchase of products offered through it and its related portals, access to information published on The Site, among others.
2. ACCEPTANCE
Accessing, using, registering on, and downloading information contained on The Site implies full and unconditional acceptance by Users of these TCU.
3. MODIFICATION
One of the services offered on The Site is the public sale of Products such as clothing and similar accessories, including sweaters, coats, stoles, scarves, hats, among other similar products. This service shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Offer.”
4. CAPACITY
PERUVIAN ALPACA reserves the right to modify the TCU, policies, and conditions related to the use and purpose of The Site. PERUVIAN ALPACA may modify the Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing the changes on The Site. All modified terms shall become effective from the date of publication on The Site.
5. THE OFFER
PERUVIAN ALPACA, through The Site, shall offer Products for sale under the following conditions and procedures:
a) During the period in which the advertisement is published on The Site, Buyers and/or Users may place online purchase orders, guaranteeing payment through a bank credit card, debit card, or any other payment method that, at PERUVIAN ALPACA’s discretion, provides sufficient payment guarantee as expressly defined on The Site.
b) The Offers shall include the parameters, details, and specific conditions of the Products.
c) The Offers shall have a determined quantity and stock availability for purchase.
The Offers shall be valid internationally. Product photographs and images are for reference purposes only. However, the designs are protected by copyright owned by PERUVIAN ALPACA.
6. REGISTRATION
Interested Users may accept the Offer and purchase Products provided they are previously registered on The Site. All information provided in the registration form must be valid, truthful, and current.
Users undertake to promptly update the information provided and registered on The Site in order to reflect any changes over time. PERUVIAN ALPACA shall not be responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by Buyers and/or Users of The Site.
Users are responsible, in all cases, for the truthfulness, accuracy, validity, and authenticity of the data provided. PERUVIAN ALPACA reserves the right to request supporting documents and/or additional information to verify Personal and Shipping Data, as well as to temporarily or permanently suspend Users whose data could not be confirmed.
In such cases of suspension, the User shall be prevented from making Offers, without generating any right to compensation.
The personal information provided by the User to PERUVIAN ALPACA shall be protected by an access password known only to the User. The User is solely responsible for keeping the password confidential.
The User agrees to immediately notify the Company, through appropriate and verifiable means, of any unauthorized use of their account.
Accounts are personal, unique, and non-transferable. A User is prohibited from registering or owning more than one account. If PERUVIAN ALPACA detects multiple accounts containing matching or related information, it may cancel, suspend, or disable them.
PERUVIAN ALPACA reserves the right to reject any registration request or cancel a previously accepted registration at any time and for any reason, without being obligated to communicate or explain the reasons for its decision, and without generating any right to compensation or indemnification.
7. PRICE
The product price shall be published in the Offer on The Site, including VAT and/or applicable taxes.
8. PAYMENT
Users may make payments through credit or debit cards, bank transfers, or deposits at bank branches or authorized agents accepted by The Site and issued by a Peruvian financial institution authorized by the Superintendence of Banking and Financial Institutions.
For this purpose, Users must provide the card expiration date, the three (3) security digits, and the cardholder’s name at the time of placing the order and/or accepting the Offer.
The purchase receipt for the product shall be available and viewable on The Site.
To prevent fraud, Users must notify PERUVIAN ALPACA of any fraudulent activity related to the card used for purchasing the Offer via email or telephone as soon as possible so that PERUVIAN ALPACA may take the necessary actions.
In the event of bank fraud, PERUVIAN ALPACA shall not be responsible for the transaction amount. However, it shall coordinate and do everything within its reach between the customer, the payment gateway, and the banks to resolve any financial issue.
Products and services offered on The Site, unless otherwise specified for particular cases or specific offers, may be paid using the following payment methods:
The PayPal payment gateway, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners credit and debit cards. Bank transfers from BCP, BBVA, Interbank, and Scotiabank are also accepted, as well as cash payments at these same institutions.
9. THE SERVICE
PERUVIAN ALPACA only sells clothing products. This service shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Offer,” which the User may purchase in accordance with these TCU.
The product purchase process follows the procedure below:
- The User or Buyer browses the website categories/products.
- Adds one or more products to the shopping bag.
- The User or Buyer clicks the “Checkout” button.
- Validates the products in the shopping bag.
- Completes billing information (identity document, Department, Province, District).
- The User or Buyer clicks the “Continue with contact information” button.
- Completes the “Information” section (email address, first name, last name, address, city, region).
- Proceeds by clicking the “Continue to shipping” button.
- Selects a shipping method (depending on the department/province/district, the User may choose between Express Delivery and Regular Delivery).
- Proceeds by clicking the “Continue to payment” button.
- Selects a payment method (credit/debit card, bank transfer, bank branch/agent payment).
- Selects a billing address (same as shipping address or a different billing address).
10. LIABILITY
Under no circumstances shall PERUVIAN ALPACA be liable for:
i) improper use by Users or visitors of The Site of the materials displayed, industrial property rights, or intellectual property rights;
ii) damages or potential damages and losses that may be caused to Buyers and/or Users due to the operation of search tools or errors generated by the technical elements of The Site or search engine;
iii) the content of pages that Buyers or Users may access with or without authorization from PERUVIAN ALPACA.
iv) the access by minors or persons without legal capacity, under the terms established by applicable legislation, to the content related to the contractual relationship arising from the Website.
v) PERUVIAN ALPACA shall under no circumstances be held responsible for the loss, misuse, or unauthorized use of the validation code, whether by the User, Buyer, or third parties, after the purchase has been completed as established in these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Likewise, the parties acknowledge and agree that the technological platform provided by PERUVIAN ALPACA is not infallible. Therefore, during the validity of this Agreement, circumstances beyond the control of PERUVIAN ALPACA may arise that cause the Website or the technological platform to become unavailable for a certain period of time. In such cases, PERUVIAN ALPACA will make every reasonable effort to restore the Website and system as quickly as possible, without incurring any liability.
PERUVIAN ALPACA does not guarantee the continuous availability or uninterrupted operation of the Website, nor that Users will always be able to access the Offers available on the Website.
PERUVIAN ALPACA shall not be responsible for viruses or any other elements contained on the Website that may cause alterations to the User’s computer systems or electronic documents stored therein.
PERUVIAN ALPACA shall not be liable for damages resulting from the improper use of the technologies made available to Users, regardless of how such technologies are misused.
PERUVIAN ALPACA shall also not be liable for damages caused to the Website through improper or malicious use by Users and/or Buyers.
In any case, PERUVIAN ALPACA’s contractual, non-contractual, or legal liability towards Users, Buyers, or visitors of the Website shall not exceed the amount effectively paid by the Buyer for the purchased Product.
11. SHIPPING POLICIES
FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER US$ 1,000.00
For the successful and timely delivery of any order placed through the PERUVIAN ALPACA online store, customers must provide accurate and complete information at the time of placing the Purchase Order.
The submission of incorrect or incomplete information that results in improper processing of the order shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. This may even result in the cancellation of the order if deemed necessary by the Company.
PERUVIAN ALPACA provides shipping services for:
- Domestic shipments (Peru)
- International shipments

The PERUVIAN ALPACA online store offers the following delivery methods:
- Courier delivery
- In-store pickup
Estimated Delivery Times
Lima: 5–7 business days
Provinces: 7–10 business days
In-store pickup: 5 business days
Deliveries are available to the capitals of the main provinces in the following destinations:
Abancay, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Callao, Chiclayo, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huancayo, Huánuco, Huaraz, Ica, Iquitos, Moquegua, Piura, Puno, Tacna, Trujillo, and Tumbes.

The delivery timeframe begins once payment confirmation of the Purchase Order has been validated. Delivery times may vary depending on:
- Delivery address
- Delivery method
In the event of a State of Emergency declared by the Peruvian Government, delays in shipments may occur. The Company will notify the customer if the shipment exceeds the regular delivery timeframe.
The Company continuously monitors dispatched orders to ensure timely delivery. However, delivery may fail due to the following circumstances:
- The delivery address could not be located because it was entered incorrectly or incompletely on the Platform.
- No recipients were available at the delivery address at the time of delivery.
Once informed of the issue, the Company will contact the Customer by email and/or phone to reschedule the delivery date. Any additional costs resulting from this rescheduling shall be assumed by the customer.
International Shipments
International shipments are available to the following countries:
Germany, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Spain, United States of America, Finland, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, and Uruguay.
Courier Delivery
Estimated delivery time is approximately 15 to 40 business days. Customers will be able to track their orders once the Company notifies them that the shipment has been dispatched.
The Company continuously monitors dispatched orders to ensure they arrive at their destination on time. However, delivery may fail due to the following circumstances:
- The delivery address could not be located because it was entered incorrectly or incompletely on the Platform.
- No recipients were available at the delivery address at the time of delivery.
Once informed of the issue, the Company will contact the Customer by email and/or phone to reschedule the delivery date. Any additional costs resulting from this rescheduling shall be assumed by the customer.

12. RETURNS OR PRODUCT EXCHANGES
Please read the Returns and Exchange Policy.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
It is expressly stated that the intellectual, commercial, and industrial property rights related to the content, designs, graphics, systems, including hardware and software covered by this Agreement, are the exclusive property of PERUVIAN ALPACA.
The total or partial reproduction of the Website without the prior written consent of PERUVIAN ALPACA is strictly prohibited.
Likewise, the copying, reproduction, adaptation, modification, distribution, commercialization, public communication, and/or any other action that infringes current Peruvian and/or international intellectual and industrial property regulations is strictly prohibited, as is the use of the Website’s content without the prior written authorization of PERUVIAN ALPACA.
14. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER AND/OR USER
Users and/or Buyers are responsible for the information they register on the Website.
Therefore, Buyers and/or Users shall be solely responsible before PERUVIAN ALPACA and third parties for any consequences arising from the use of information for unlawful purposes or effects contrary to these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Likewise, they are exclusively responsible for the loss, misuse, or unauthorized use of their validation code, whether by themselves or by third parties, after completing the purchase as established in these Terms and Conditions.
15. PERSONAL DATA
Users and/or Buyers guarantee that the information provided for the purchase of products is truthful, complete, accurate, updated, and reliable.
In accordance with Law No. 29733, the following is established:
The data provided on the Website shall become part of the PERUVIAN ALPACA database and shall be used for purposes related to the contract, responding to inquiries, contact, and related services.
PERUVIAN ALPACA FIBERS assumes that the data has been entered by its owner or by a person authorized by them, and that such data is accurate and correct.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions of Use, Users and/or Buyers acknowledge and agree that the personal data provided through the online forms on the PERUVIAN ALPACA website may be used for future Offers different from those initially offered on the Website.
PERUVIAN ALPACA undertakes not to use the personal data provided by Users for purposes other than the online purchase and sale of products and services, always complying with Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations.
Any User who enters their personal data on the PERUVIAN ALPACA website is providing their express and unequivocal consent for such data to be used in commercial transactions carried out through the PERUVIAN ALPACA website.
