PERUVIAN ALPACA FIBERS S.A.C. is a legally incorporated company registered in Peru under Tax ID No. 20615516041, with registered address at Calle 20A Nro. 162 – Apt. 704-A, San Miguel District, Province and Region of Lima. The Company values and respects the privacy of its customers.

The processing of personal information collected through the Platform is the responsibility of the Company and is subject to Law No. 29733 – Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law – and other applicable regulations. The purposes for which this data will be used are limited to processing purchase orders and communicating with Customers, so that inquiries may be addressed efficiently and information related to the brand that may be of interest can be provided.

INFORMATION COLLECTED ONLINE

Data Collected Automatically

The information collected online includes both data gathered automatically and personal information manually entered by the Customer.

The data automatically collected during the use of the Platform will be used solely for statistical purposes and to verify the proper functioning of the online store. This may include, for example, the pages viewed by the Customer on the website, browser type information, the Customer’s IP address, among others.

Cookies

The PERUVIAN ALPACA online store uses Google Analytics, a tool that employs temporary files created on each browsing device – known as “cookies” – to store information for different purposes. These include identifying Customer shopping preferences – such as recently viewed categories and products – and storing products added to the shopping cart.

Personal Data Provided by the Customer

Users may enter their personal information to subscribe to the website and agree to receive promotional information from PERUVIAN ALPACA.

To make a purchase, the Customer must register their personal information – if they have not previously created an account – in order to complete the Purchase Order. The personal information required may include full name, National Identity Document (DNI)/Foreigner Identification Card (CE)/Taxpayer Identification Number (RUC), gender, date of birth, telephone number, address, district, province, department, region, and country. These fields may vary depending on the Customer’s country of residence.

Additionally, depending on the selected payment method, information such as credit card number, expiration date, and verification code may also be collected.

Use of Information Collected Online

The collection of information through the Platform has three main purposes:

  • Properly process and validate the Purchase Order.
  • Establish timely communication with the Customer in order to provide the necessary support in the event of any issue or incident.
  • Keep Customers informed about products, services, campaigns, promotions, or any other marketing actions carried out by the brand.

Transmission of Information

To provide Customers with a secure purchasing process, the Company has an agreement with an external online payment service provider.

The data provided by Customers will be shared with the provider exclusively for service-related purposes, including payment processing and transaction validation through anti-fraud systems, in order to minimize the risk of identity theft involving cardholders.

By making a payment through the “Credit Card Payment” method, the Customer authorizes the confidential processing of information by the provider. Personal data, credit card details, and purchase information are encrypted during transmission over the network, ensuring their protection.

Customer Rights

By registering personal data on the Platform, the Customer expressly grants consent to the Company for the use of such information for the purposes described in this policy. This information may be edited to ensure the proper processing of future Purchase Orders.

Customers may opt out of receiving marketing emails from the brand at any time by contacting customerservice@peruvianalpaca.com. Messages related to account usage and/or administrative notifications may only cease once the account has been deleted, for which the Customer must notify the Company via email.

Privacy Policy Updates

The Company reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy. However, any changes will be made in accordance with applicable legislation and always prioritizing the protection of personal data and Customer satisfaction.
